She set my prices for years and I didn’t even know it.

When I first started charging for my healing work, I had three price points.

50 for a standard session. 80 for something longer. Just over 100 for something exceptional.

I tried everything to shift them but nothing worked. Those numbers held me like a ceiling I couldn’t see.

It took me a while to understand why.

You see, my grandmother was a seamstress and worked from home. She charged 50 for a standard dress, 80 for something more complex, and 100 for a wedding dress.

And  somewhere in my subconscious, I was not allowed to outgrow her. Not out of fear, but out of love and loyalty so deep I hadn’t even known it was there.

The prices I charged for several years were not mine. They were hers. And part of me was still honouring her by keeping them.

This is what I mean when I say the block is not in your strategy. It might be in a family story that’s still deciding for you, one you’ve never consciously chosen and may not even know is there.
