What happens when you step out and don’t feel good enough

I have a friend who wants to step out as a healer, but every time she takes a step forward, she panics, shuts down and withdraws.

This is so common – one of the reactions you have to feeling not good enough.

You may then go into avoidance, get busy, distracted or ill to avoid stepping out for a while.

But there’s a calling inside of you. It tugs at your sleeve and doesn’t let you rest.

So you make another step… and the pattern repeats.

You then blame the circumstances, technology, Facebook algorithms, people’s lack of interest, recession, etc. etc. etc.

The calling tugs at you.

You make a tiny move pushing through your freeze response, trip up… and go into self-blame.

You blame yourself for procrastinating, for being an imposter (how can I support others when I’m not sorted myself?!), for your lack of skill, for being too young/ too old/ too fat/ too shy/ too something else.

The calling stomps its feet. You have a mission here. You came to offer your gift.

You take another little step and spin out of control. You fear people’s judgments, criticism, attacks, projections…. You hold back some more.

It’s so hard to move forward at this pace.

Dealing with your core wounding that drives this behaviour can expedite this process exponentially.

If you’re ready to let go of your self-sabotaging behaviour, join my 3-hour Masterclass ‘Already Enough’ to heal the parts that stop you from showing up fully, so that you can offer your gifts in your work and your personal life. It'll take place on 13 December at 12:00-15:00 UK time. Here's the sign-up link: www.gularavincent.co.uk/already-enough
