Why I Scrapped My Visibility Course For One Word

I ran a four week course in February with 400 people, called Words & Energy That Attract The Right Clients.

Right from the beginning it was obvious that most people had no problem with words themselves. What blocked them from articulating clearly what they do was their fear of visibility.

The theme kept coming up again and again throughout the course, so it got me curious. I conducted a survey with 120 healers and some in-depth interviews too.

What's stopping all these gifted, talented people from stepping forward?

The answers inspired me to create a course about visibility. I mapped out the content, created exercises, even a sales page. And yet something was holding me back from launching it.

What was it? There was a niggle that this wasn't quite it.

Why though, when so many people had named visibility as their challenge?

When I sat with the question, I realised that visibility feels like hard work. It puts the weight on doing. There's a lot of effort involved in becoming visible: sharing regularly, having decent photos, doing regular Facebook lives. Not that those actions are not important. It just felt heavy….

Until the solution dropped in.

It was one word: magnetism.

Unlike visibility, magnetism puts the weight on being, as well as ease. It asks you to become someone people are drawn to, without the constant effort.

Now, you probably don't wake up and think, today's the day I'm going to be magnetic to my ideal clients.

But I bet you do wonder how you're going to attract your next client to pay your bills.

I've certainly been there myself. I remember well how this question kept me up at night a few years back.

So I reflected on my own journey and realised that my secret to success has been working on my energy, which then translated into natural magnetism and sold out programmes.
